Everything you need to know before starting your leadership development journey with Ascent.

Programme length varies depending on your goals and the complexity of the challenge. Individual coaching engagements typically run from three to twelve months, with sessions every two to four weeks. Team development programmes usually span three to six months. We also offer one-off workshops and intensive short-burst interventions where appropriate. Following our initial discovery conversation, we will recommend the duration that best fits your needs.
Absolutely. While our headquarters are in London, we work with organisations across the UK β€” including Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, and Leeds β€” as well as internationally across Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Many of our coaching engagements are delivered virtually via video conferencing, which allows us to support leaders wherever they are based without any compromise to quality or connection.
Yes. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate the demands of senior leadership roles. Sessions are available from 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday, and we can also accommodate early morning and evening appointments outside these hours by arrangement. We understand that no two leaders have the same diary, and we work hard to find times that suit you.
Our coaches and facilitators bring hands-on experience across financial services, professional services, technology and SaaS, retail and consumer, healthcare and life sciences, higher education, and central and local government. We are deeply sector-literate and always take time to understand the specific pressures and culture of your industry before designing any intervention. We do not take a one-size-fits-all approach β€” ever.
We use a multi-dimensional measurement approach. At the outset, we agree the goals and success criteria with you and any relevant stakeholders. Throughout the programme, we track progress through structured check-ins, goal reviews, and stakeholder feedback. At programme close, we conduct a comprehensive review that covers behavioural changes observed by stakeholders, progress against initial goals, self-reported outcomes from the coachee, and β€” where relevant β€” quantifiable business metrics such as team engagement scores, retention, or performance data.
